Thank you for considering HEJLT for your article.

We publish peer-reviewed scholarly articles and reviews as well as practitioner accounts and polemic, aimed at promoting, enhancing and disseminating research, good practice, transformation, development and innovation in all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment in tertiary education, internationally.

Please use our submission template/style guide if at all possible. As we publish work by scholars from different disciplines, we do not impose one convention but do ask for internally consistent, complete and accurate inline parenthetical citation (Author date), avoiding footnotes, because this works well for web publishing. American Psychological Association (APA) style is a good version. There are many acceptable flavours of “Harvard style“. As we are a web-based journal, we insist that the writing  be read quickly and easily, regardless of length.
